U2's Ummagumma monster

William Gibson har på Wired skrevet en artikel om hans oplevelse af U2's Vertigo//2005 tour. Han har fulgt dem bag scenen til nogle koncerter og fortæller bla. om deres brug af teknologi. I et interview med Vertigo tourens video guru nævnes følgende mulighed for brug af video i fremtiden:

"We're thinking of webcasting concerts through U2.com, but part of the deal would be that subscribers could only watch us if we can watch them, through their home webcams, and then we'd all get to watch those images "
